Ever since I moved to Sydney I have wanted to try these delicious tarts from Bourke Street Bakery. Finally, after over a year I made the time to buy some and boy did they live up to my expectations. They were beautifully balanced (not sickly sweet) and they just look so damn good! It’s definitely worth a special trip just to get some of these tasty delights.
I was lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to photograph for The Life Style Edit in Surry Hills in Sydney. It was such an amazing experience to photograph these beautiful products in a studio space and the fact that I got to work and learn from some amazing and inspiring people is just the icing on the cake.
These are just a few shots from the beauty and home shoot styled by the incredible Heidi Albertiri, she is so amazing and watching her work is so inspiring.
Life can get so stressful sometimes and as you get older you really start to think about what you want for your future and this can become so overwhelming. The farm is an amazing place to melt away these stresses and worries and just take some time out for yourself.
One of my favourite things to do is walk around mums garden, I found this lonely little strawberry and had to photograph it and luckily I did because by the next day the birds and the bugs had taken it.
In addition to relaxing, I also made some homemade lamingtons, which I might add is a lot harder when you don’t have some of the mod cons and you also forget some ingredients and the closest shop is an hour away. They still, however, tasted delicious even after some creative solutions to missing ingredients.
Breakfast my favourite meal of the day, there is just something so wonderful about starting your day with a creative and delicious breakfast. On this day we ventured out to Bondi to feast on the delicious dishes from Porch and Parlour. The weather was sublime and the company was pretty good too.
