Vancouver

Vancouver, what a city, its funny how a place all the way on the other side of the globe can feel like home. We found out quite quickly after arriving in Vancouver that it was like another Melbourne. The cafes sold real coffee, they was a plethora of restaurants and bars within walking distance and the hipsters where plentiful.

The highlight of this trip would have to be seeing Snoop Dogg in concert, now I only have phone photos of that because who takes a DSLR to a Snoop Dogg concert?

Aside from that we pretty much just ate, drank, wandered through the amazing city and went on a road trip to drink some beer and see some spectacular views.

Oregon Part 3: ROAD TRIP!

On the next stage of our Oregon adventure we hit the open road and threw caution to the wind and just drove.. Not really we knew where we were going. Unfortunately most of the road trip it was raining and there was a lot of fog which made it difficult to see some of the beautiful coastal sights we intended but we made the most of the sunny breaks in the weather.

My highlights were definitely the hikes and the breathtaking views that came with them. We also got to experience small town American life and with that came some of the worst hotels we’ve ever been in.
